- File is having one face flat and other face of curve shape. Width of the file is uniform throughout the file. Half-round file can be used for dual purposes, the flat face for filing flat surfaces and the curved face for grooves. It is available in bastard, 2nd cut and smooth cut geometry. This file is used for filing concave corners crevices, grooves and round holes. This file is used by machinists, fabricators etc. and it is ideal for use on wood, metal and plastic.
